You can filter by any of the user attributes set up in your account.

ProTip: If you have an Enterprise plan, you can contact our Success Desk to customize your attributes.

After applying filters, you can use the omni search to further refine your data. 

Only data related to learners that you have permission to see will be displayed.

By default, data is based on active users, active content, and assignments that can be exercised.

Add a Filter Block

Filters appear within filter blocks.

When you first open the Filter panel, several filter blocks will appear by default. These are based on the attributes that display in your Users View grid. To customize these, contact our Success Desk

To add a new filter block, select an attribute from the Filter By dropdown and click +Filter

Within some blocks, you can filter by additional values by clicking + to add an OR condition.

ProTip: You can apply several types of filters, including: 

  • Date/Time
  • Dropdown
  • Email
  • Number 
  • Text
  • Toggle

Apply a Filter

To apply a filter, follow these steps: 

  1. Click within a filter block.
  2. Enter the information you'd like to include in your data.
  3. Repeat for each filter block. 
  4. Click Apply.

Applied filters will appear at the top of the page.

Users View. A Created At filter appears at the top of the page beside a toggle button. The toggle is enabled.

ProTip: When you apply filters, the URL will also update. This allows you to bookmark the webpage, saving the filters to use again. 

You can also share this URL with other users who have access to the Analytics Dashboard. Depending on their security policies, they may see slightly different data.  

Note: When applying a date or time filter, the resulting data will be based on your time zone.

Disable a Filter

When viewing your data, you can enable/disable a filter using the visibility toggleVisibility toggle. .

Remove a Filter

To remove a filter, click the X beside the value you want to remove. Click Apply to update your data. 

To remove an entire filter block, click the X in the block's header.
