Topics are the specific objectives or sections within your training. They contain Concepts, and are owned by Modules.

Adding a Topic

Topics are created from the Module context panel. This allows you to quickly add and map out your content in one step.

Module context panel, Topics tab. The Module is called Geography of North America. Two Topics are listed: Canada and United States. On the right side of each Topic name is a down arrow (to view more details). Below the list is a +Topic button.

To add a Topic, follow these steps:

  1. Create a Module.
  2. Click +Topic.
  3. Enter the Topic name.
  4. Add any prerequisites.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for each Topic.
  6. Click Save.

You will need to edit your Topic to customize its setup (see Editing a Topicsection, below).

When creating a Topic, you can set one or more other Topics as prerequisites.

For example, if you set Topic B as a prerequisite for Topic A, then prior to the user receiving activities in Topic A, they will need to first reach their Mastery Goal for Topic B.
Prerequisites only apply when doing a full mastery moment. Users will be able to practice all Topics without having to complete any prerequisites.
